Repeated mechanical load and cycling gradually wear the bearing surface of this component, leading to play in the linkage, unusual noise during operation, or an assembly that no longer moves smoothly.
Replacement should be performed by a qualified technician. De-energize the equipment and access the affected mechanical assembly, then disconnect any linkage or drive component attached to the worn part and remove it from its mounting.
