PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Gasket Kit - Pump Motor for Jackson Part# 6401-003-06-75

Details
This is a replacement Gasket Kit for the Pump Motor (part# 6401-003-06-75) designed for Jackson commercial warewashing equipment, including undercounter dishwashers, door-type dishwashers, flight-type conveyor dishwashers, glass washers, and pot & pan washers. This comprehensive gasket kit contains all necessary sealing components required to maintain a complete water-tight seal between the pump assembly and the electric motor, protecting motor windings and bearings from moisture infiltration.
Pump motor gasket kits deteriorate through cumulative wear as individual gaskets in the kit degrade from thermal cycling, chemical exposure, and mechanical stress. Symptoms of gasket kit failure include visible water around the motor coupling area, motor bearing noise or grinding sounds indicating moisture contamination, reduced wash pressure, burning smells emanating from the motor, and electrical intermittent operation. Neglecting to replace a failed gasket kit permits progressive water ingress into motor cavities, leading to electrical shorts, bearing corrosion, complete motor failure, and potentially dangerous electrical hazards to equipment operators.
Installation requires disassembling the pump-to-motor coupling and is best performed by qualified Jackson equipment service technicians. The gasket kit is a complete direct fit replacement providing all required sealing surfaces for proper reassembly. Before installation, thoroughly clean both pump and motor mating surfaces using mild solvent and soft cloth to remove old gasket material completely. Apply a light coat of food-grade lubricant to gasket surfaces during reassembly. After installation, run the equipment at reduced pressure for one complete cycle while visually inspecting all motor housing seams for water seepage before resuming full operational service.
