Details
The Gaylord Vinyl Tubing 1/4" (per Foot) (Part# 10272) is a genuine OEM replacement hose/tubing component for Gaylord commercial kitchen ventilation hoods and fire suppression control systems. Routed through Gaylord commercial kitchen ventilation hoods and fire suppression control systems, this hose/tubing component transfers water, steam, gas, or product between the components it connects.
Heat and pressure cycling gradually break down the material of flexible lines like this, leading to cracking, leaks, or a soft spot that can eventually burst under normal operating pressure.
Replacement should be performed by a qualified technician. Shut off and relieve pressure in the line before disconnecting the fittings at each end of the old hose or tube. Remove the failed section, install the new one in the same routing and orientation, and secure the fittings per the original configuration. Restore supply and check the full length of the line for leaks before returning the unit to service.
