The Groen Thermostat- Bi-metal 410F (Part# NT1080) is a genuine OEM replacement temperature sensing component for Groen steam kettles, braising pans, and cooking equipment. As the primary temperature-sensing element in the circuit, this part feeds real-time readings back to the control system so Groen steam kettles, braising pans, and cooking equipment can regulate heating or cooling precisely.
Constant thermal cycling and, depending on placement, exposure to moisture or cleaning chemicals wear down the sensing element over time, leading to inaccurate readings, nuisance error codes, or a control system that can no longer regulate temperature properly.
Replacement should be handled by a qualified technician. De-energize the unit before accessing the sensor, disconnect the wiring or connector at the sensor, and remove it from its mounting point or probe well. Install the new sensor in the same location, reconnect the wiring, restore power, and verify accurate readings against a calibrated reference before returning the unit to service.
