The Henny Penny Tag Spring Weldment (Part# 33480) is a genuine OEM replacement spring for Henny Penny commercial pressure fryers, rotisseries, and holding cabinets. Installed as part of a mechanical assembly on Henny Penny commercial pressure fryers, rotisseries, and holding cabinets, this spring supplies the return tension needed for correct operation of the component it supports.
Repeated flexing under load causes spring fatigue over time, leading to reduced tension, stretching, or an outright break, any of which allows the component it supports to sag, bind, or fail to return to position.
Replacement should be performed by a maintenance technician. With the equipment de-energized, relieve tension on the assembly carefully before removing the worn spring from its mounting points. Install the new spring in the same orientation and mounting points, then cycle the assembly through its full range of motion to confirm proper tension and return before returning the unit to service.
