Details
This 10 quart wire whip is a replacement agitator for Hobart C100 and C100T mixers. Its stainless steel wires beat air into light mixtures like whipped cream, egg whites, meringue, frosting and thin batters. It fits the mixer’s agitator shaft and is sized for the 10 quart bowl, so it sweeps the bowl properly as the mixer turns.
Wire whips take a lot of wear in a busy bakery or kitchen. Over time the wires can bend, loosen at the hub, or break, especially if the whip is used on mixtures that are too heavy for it. A bent or damaged whip scrapes the bowl, mixes unevenly, and can leave wire fragments in food. Replacing a worn whip keeps mixing results consistent and the C100 ready for daily prep.
To install, lower the bowl, slide the whip onto the agitator shaft and turn it to lock it in place. Use the whip on low or medium speeds for best results, and save heavy doughs for the dough hook or flat beater. Wash and dry it after each use, and check the wires regularly for bends or looseness. Confirm your mixer model before ordering.
