PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Hose Barb Fitting for Cleveland Part# FK105786

Details
The Hose Barb Fitting (Part# FK105786) is a Cleveland-compatible replacement hose for use in Cleveland commercial steamer and cooking equipment water and steam distribution systems. Flexible hoses route water and steam between fixed plumbing components, providing vibration isolation and routing flexibility within the equipment cabinet, manufactured to the correct inner diameter, pressure rating, and material specification for Cleveland steamer service.
Hoses deteriorate over time from the combined effects of heat, steam pressure, repeated flexing, and the water chemistry of the local supply. External signs of hose degradation include swelling, cracking, softening, or visible weeping at fittings, all of which indicate that the hose wall has lost structural integrity and failure is imminent. Internal deterioration can also shed fragments of lining material that contaminate solenoid valve seats and strainers downstream.
Hose replacement should be performed by a qualified service technician with the water supply shut off and the steam system depressurized and cooled. Remove the old hose from its fittings, inspect the mating fittings for corrosion or thread damage, and install the new Hose Barb Fitting with new washers at each connection as applicable. Tighten all fittings to the appropriate torque, restore water supply, and inspect all connections for leaks before returning the unit to service.
