Details
The Hoshizaki Relay, Omron #LY2F-A (Part# 406132-07) is a genuine OEM replacement electrical protection/switching component for Hoshizaki ice machines and refrigeration equipment. Installed in the control circuit of Hoshizaki ice machines and refrigeration equipment, this component either protects the circuit from overload or switches power to a connected load on command.
Repeated cycling and thermal stress from normal current flow gradually wear down the internal contacts or element, leading to nuisance trips, a circuit that will not hold, or a complete failure to switch the connected load.
Replacement should be performed by a qualified electrician. Lock out and de-energize the circuit, verify zero voltage with a meter, then remove the failed component from its mounting base or panel, noting wiring positions. Install the replacement in the same location, reconnect wiring to match the original configuration, and restore power, testing the circuit under normal load before returning the unit to service.
