PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Jackson 05700-004-84-96 Wash Pump and Motor is an original Jackson replacement component engineered for commercial dishwashers, supporting efficient operation, consistent results, and reduced downtime in busy kitchens.
Details
The Jackson 05700-004-84-96 Wash Pump and Motor Assembly (2 HP) is an OEM replacement pump and motor unit designed for Jackson commercial undercounter and door-type dishwashers. This 2-horsepower assembly drives the recirculation of wash water through the spray arms, providing the flow rate and pressure necessary to effectively clean and degrease dishware, glassware, and cookware during wash cycles.
The wash pump and motor assembly is the primary mechanical driver of the dishwasher's cleaning performance, operating throughout every wash cycle to maintain water pressure at the spray arms. Bearing failure, impeller damage, motor winding burnout, or seal leakage are common causes of pump and motor replacement. Symptoms include reduced spray pressure, noisy operation, water leakage under the machine, or a complete failure to circulate water during the wash phase.
Installation should be performed by a qualified commercial kitchen equipment technician. The procedure involves de-energizing the machine, draining the wash tank, disconnecting plumbing connections and electrical wiring from the existing assembly, and installing the replacement pump and motor unit. After securing all connections and restoring power and water, verify proper wash arm coverage and pressure through a complete test cycle before returning the machine to active service.
