Details
The Jackson Bearing, Ball S/s (Part# 3110-100-03-24) is a genuine OEM replacement bearing/shaft component for Jackson commercial dish machines and warewashing equipment. Part of a mechanical linkage on Jackson commercial dish machines and warewashing equipment, this bearing/shaft component supports smooth rotation of the assembly it's installed in.
Bearing and shaft components absorb mechanical load every time the assembly they support cycles, and that repeated motion wears the bearing surface down gradually, especially when combined with exposure to grease-laden air or wash-down moisture. Symptoms of wear include play in the linkage, grinding or squealing noise, or an assembly that moves sluggishly or binds.
A technician should de-energize the unit, access the mechanical assembly, and disconnect the linkage from the worn component before removing it. Install the replacement, reconnect the linkage, and test the assembly through its full range of motion to confirm smooth operation before closing out the repair.
