PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Jackson 4420-002-43-94 Booster is an original Jackson replacement component engineered for commercial dishwashers, supporting efficient operation, consistent results, and reduced downtime in busy kitchens.
Details
The booster unit (Jackson Part# 4420-002-43-94) is a 120V steam booster system component designed for Jackson ST-T120 commercial warewashing equipment. This OEM replacement generates steam pressure required for the booster tank system, which elevates rinse water to sanitization temperatures for the final rinse cycle. The booster enhances the dishwasher's ability to achieve proper sanitization and spotless drying of dishes and glassware.
Booster components fail through seal degradation from steam pressure and thermal cycling, corrosion of internal components from mineral-laden steam, and mechanical stress on pumps and pressurization mechanisms. Failure symptoms include insufficient steam pressure, booster tank not reaching required temperature, loss of steam production, or leaking seals. A failed booster system prevents the equipment from achieving required final rinse temperatures, potentially resulting in unsanitized dishes and poor product quality.
Booster replacement should be performed by a technician experienced with steam systems and Jackson warewashing equipment due to high-temperature steam and pressure hazards. All steam and electrical power must be isolated before work commences, and the system must be depressurized and cooled. Following installation, test steam generation and pressure to ensure proper operation of the final rinse cycle. Maintain the booster through regular cleaning of steam passages to prevent mineral deposits, and monitor seals for leakage signs.
