This is an OEM replacement Curtain (part# 5700-002-79-70) for Jackson flight-type (conveyor) dishwasher systems, specifically sized for long-length JFT assembly applications, designed as part of Jackson's commercial warewashing equipment line that includes undercounter dishwashers, door-type dishwashers, flight-type conveyor dishwashers, glass washers, and pot & pan washers. This extended-length curtain maintains water spray and steam containment across the entire conveyor wash chamber length.
Flight-type conveyor curtains fail due to continuous exposure to high-temperature water spray along the full length of the machine, cumulative detergent chemical exposure, and mechanical wear from proximity to the moving conveyor rack. Symptoms of curtain failure include visible cracks, splits, or sections missing, water spray escaping onto the loading/unloading area, steam not being contained properly, operator exposure to spray patterns, and material deterioration visible along the curtain length. Failure to replace a worn flight-type curtain creates operational hazards, reduces equipment efficiency by allowing spray escape, increases steam exposure to operators, and violates food service equipment safety standards.
