Details

The Jackson 5700-003-76-02 Upper Rinse Arm Weldment is an OEM replacement rinse spray arm assembly designed for Jackson door-type and undercounter dishwashers to deliver high-temperature, chemical-free rinse water across the upper basket area. This weldment includes the stainless steel arm structure, multiple spray nozzles, and the rotating bearing assembly that enables the arm to spin from water jet pressure, ensuring complete rinse coverage to remove detergent residue and food particles.

Upper rinse arm weldments can deteriorate through nozzle obstruction from mineral scaling and rust particles, corrosion of the arm material from prolonged exposure to high-temperature water and detergent residue, bearing wear causing excessive wobbling and uneven spray distribution, or structural cracking at weld joints from thermal stress. Failure symptoms include spotting and streaking on glassware indicating incomplete detergent removal, visible mineral buildup or corrosion on the arm surface, reduced water spray pressure or coverage, or the arm making unusual grinding noises during operation. Poor rinse action leaves detergent film on dishes, creates poor appearance, and can introduce chemical residue onto food contact surfaces.

The 5700-003-76-02 upper rinse arm replacement requires lowering or removing the upper basket assembly to access the arm mounting fasteners at the top center of the wash chamber. Technicians disconnect any supply line connections and remove the mounting bolts before withdrawing the old weldment, then carefully position the new arm and reconnect all supply lines ensuring proper seating. After installation, run test cycles with glasses in the upper basket and inspect for spot-free finish and even rinse distribution across all areas, adjusting arm position if needed for optimal spray coverage.
