The Jackson 6401-004-47-82 A-Kit, Tank and Cover is an OEM replacement wash tank assembly complete with its fitted cover used in Jackson undercounter and compact dishwashers. The tank serves as the primary reservoir where wash water and detergent solution are held during the cleaning operation, while the cover provides a seal that prevents splash-out and allows pressure to build within the tank for optimal spray action from the wash arms.
Wash tanks and covers can degrade through corrosion of the stainless steel from prolonged contact with acidic detergents and mineral-laden water, stress cracks forming at weld joints from thermal cycling and mechanical stress, warping of the tank bottom affecting proper drain function, or cover gasket deterioration compromising the seal.
