This is an OEM replacement Curtain (part# 8415-131-73-45) measuring 21" in length by 20.5" in width, designed for Jackson commercial warewashing equipment, including undercounter dishwashers, door-type dishwashers, flight-type conveyor dishwashers, glass washers, and pot & pan washers. The machine curtain serves as a protective barrier that directs spray and steam within the wash chamber while shielding operators from exposure to hot water and scalding steam.
Machine curtains degrade due to continuous exposure to high-temperature water exceeding 180 degrees Fahrenheit, caustic detergent solutions, and steam that cause material embrittlement, discoloration, and deterioration. Symptoms of curtain failure include visible cracks or splits in the material, soft spots indicating internal material breakdown, gaps allowing uncontrolled steam escape, water spray reaching the operator area, and material fragments found in the wash chamber.
