PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Jackson FB-S02-101-0 A-Belt Assembly is an original Jackson replacement component engineered for commercial dishwashers, supporting efficient operation, consistent results, and reduced downtime in busy kitchens.
Details
The Jackson FB-S02-101-0 A-Belt Assembly, S02 (18.5 ft) is an OEM replacement drive belt used in Jackson flight-type conveyor dishwashers with S02 series conveyor systems. This serpentine belt transmits mechanical power from the main drive motor to the conveyor chain system, propelling the conveyor flight through the wash and rinse sections at the properly timed speed to allow sufficient contact time for thorough cleaning.
Conveyor drive belts can fail through rubber deterioration and glazing from heat exposure and friction, tooth stripping where the belt teeth lose engagement with the pulley grooves, edge fraying indicating internal cord degradation, or belt slip causing the conveyor to move erratically or stall under load. Failure symptoms include the conveyor moving slower than normal, jerky or intermittent conveyor motion, unusual grinding or squealing noises from the drive section, or complete conveyor stoppage. A failed belt prevents the conveyor from moving racks through the machine, halting all washing operations and potentially damaging the conveyor motor if the belt slips continuously.
The FB-S02-101-0 belt assembly replacement requires opening the conveyor drive cover and carefully routing the new 18.5-foot belt around all pulleys and drive components according to the equipment layout. Most facilities contract with authorized technicians familiar with conveyor geometry to install the belt with proper tension to prevent slipping while avoiding excessive stress. After installation, manually rotate the conveyor by hand to ensure smooth operation, verify belt tracking along the pulley grooves, and run the empty conveyor at normal speed listening for grinding or squealing that would indicate improper tension or alignment.
