The JL Industries Grenadier Series 2.5 Gallon Water Fire Extinguisher is a pressurized water unit designed specifically for Class A fires involving ordinary combustibles such as wood, paper, cloth, and plastics. As a clean, residue-free suppression agent, water is ideal in environments where chemical contamination from dry agents would be damaging or undesirable, including libraries, archival storage rooms, historic buildings, retail spaces, and clean commercial environments.

The Grenadier Series is built around a butt-welded 304-L stainless steel cylinder, which eliminates internal and external crevices that can trap moisture and cause corrosion — a significant durability advantage over conventional steel cylinders. The rugged stainless steel discharge lever and fixed carry handle provide reliable operation and a secure grip during use. The all-metal valve body features a replaceable molded valve stem seal for long service life, and a UL-labeled chemical engine hose, visual pressure gauge, and pull pin are included for safety and ease of operation. The unit conforms to CAN/ULC-S507/ANSI/UL 626 and CAN/ULC S508/ANSI/UL 711 standards, with an operating temperature range of 40°F to 120°F.
