The JL Industries Saturn Series 6 Liter Wet Chemical Fire Extinguisher is purpose-built for commercial kitchen environments where cooking oil and grease fires — Class K — require a specialized suppression agent. Using a low-pH potassium acetate and potassium citrate solution, it chemically reacts with burning fats and oils to rapidly suppress flames. This unit serves as a portable supplement to pre-engineered kitchen suppression systems in restaurants, cafeterias, and food service facilities.

Constructed with a stainless steel cylinder, the unit resists corrosion in humid kitchen conditions. The industry-standard horn and nozzle discharges agent in a fine mist, delivering excellent range while cooling the fire and preventing dangerous splashing of hot oils. A protective nozzle tip orifice seal and non-metallic nozzle tip finger guard are included. As the compact option in the Saturn Series, it is ideal for smaller stations or supplemental placement points. It conforms to CAN/ULC-S554/ANSI/UL 8 and CAN/ULC-S508/ANSI/UL 711 standards, with an operating temperature range of 40°F to 120°F.
