The Southbend Knob (Part# 1189600) is a genuine replacement control knob or dial for Southbend commercial ranges, griddles, broilers, ovens, and gas cooking equipment. Control knobs and dials are the operator interface for gas valves, thermostats, and other manual controls, translating hand rotation into the internal movement of the underlying control.
The knob or dial engages a D-shaped or knurled valve stem so that its printed positions — such as off, pilot, low, and high — line up accurately with the actual internal setting of the control.
