The lighted 7/8 X 1-1/2 DPST rocker switch (part number 59303014500) is a replacement electrical switch designed for Jackson undercounter dishwashers, door-type dishwashers, glass washers, and pot & pan washers. This double-pole single-throw rocker switch with integrated illumination provides visual feedback and ergonomic control for operators, activating dual electrical circuits simultaneously while indicating active status through an internal or backlighting mechanism for improved visibility in kitchens.
Lighted rocker switches fail through wear of the internal rocking mechanism, contact degradation from repeated switching cycles, burnout of the integral light element, or water and detergent intrusion into the switch cavity and lighting compartment. Failure indicators include a loose or unresponsive rocker, switches that stick in one position, loss of illumination, or intermittent loss of electrical continuity. A malfunctioning lighted switch can prevent proper cycle initiation, eliminate status indication, and compromise operator awareness of equipment function.
Installation requires qualified technicians to safely disconnect power, remove the control panel fascia, and access switch terminals and lighting circuit.
