The Linear Actuator (Part# SKE003242) is a Cleveland-compatible replacement linear actuator for use in Cleveland commercial cooking equipment where motorized or electro-mechanical positioning is required. Linear actuators convert electrical signals into precise linear motion to operate dampers, valves, vents, or other movable components as directed by the equipment control system.
Linear actuators can fail due to internal motor burnout, mechanical wear in the drive train, overtravel from limit switch failure, or damage from excessive force or impact. A failed actuator may cause the controlled component to remain stuck in the open or closed position, produce abnormal noise during movement, or respond erratically to control signals.
Linear actuator replacement should be performed by a qualified service technician with the unit de-energized. Remove the actuator from its mounting position, disconnect the wiring harness, and install the new Linear Actuator. Reconnect all wiring, restore power, and test the actuator through its full range of travel while monitoring for smooth, controlled movement and correct end-point positioning before returning the equipment to service.
