The Pitco Male Connector 1/4 Mpt X 1/4Cc is a direct replacement plumbing fitting for Pitco commercial fryers and associated equipment. It provides a 1/4-inch male pipe thread (MPT) on one end and a 1/4-inch compression fitting (CC) on the other, bridging threaded pipe connections to compression-style tubing in the fryer's gas or liquid plumbing circuits. Using the correct connector ensures a leak-proof transition between connection types without requiring field modifications that could compromise system integrity.
Over time, the original connector can develop thread wear on the MPT end, a damaged compression seat on the CC end, or corrosion that weakens the fitting body — any of which can cause slow leaks or a loss of sealing capability. A failing connector in a gas line poses a safety risk, while one in an oil circuit can create messy leaks and reduce oil system pressure. Replacing it with this fitting restores full sealing capability at both connection ends, eliminating leak points and restoring plumbing circuit integrity.
