The Pitco Male Connector 1/8" Mpt X 3/16" Cc is a direct replacement transition fitting for Pitco commercial fryer plumbing systems. It combines a 1/8-inch male pipe thread (MPT) on one end with a 3/16-inch compression fitting (CC) on the other, providing a leak-free transition between a threaded pipe port and a 3/16-inch compression tube in the fryer's gas or oil plumbing circuit. Using the correct connector ensures the right thread form on the MPT end and the correct compression geometry on the CC end for a reliable, leak-free joint at both connection points.

Over time, the original connector can suffer thread damage on the MPT end, compression seat wear on the CC end, or corrosion that weakens the fitting body and compromises sealing ability. A leaking transition fitting in the gas circuit is a safety hazard, while a leaking oil circuit connector wastes oil and creates maintenance problems. Replacing it with this male connector restores both sealing surfaces to new condition, providing a secure, leak-free transition between the pipe thread and the compression tube.

Installation uses a wrench for the MPT end and the appropriate compression nut tightening procedure for the CC end. It is recommended to replace this connector during any plumbing service where leakage or fitting damage is found, and to apply fresh thread sealant on the pipe thread during reassembly.
