Details
The Manitowoc Ice Stud-sl Recess Knob 444-055 Bl (Part# 5000453) is a genuine OEM replacement control knob for Manitowoc Ice ice machines. This knob provides the operator interface for adjusting a control setting on Manitowoc Ice ice machines, connecting to the underlying switch or valve shaft it's mounted on.
Knobs are gripped and turned repeatedly throughout the day and are exposed to grease and cleaning chemicals on the control panel, which can cause the material to crack or the internal shaft coupling to wear loose. A worn knob typically spins freely without adjusting the setting, or cracks and becomes difficult to grip.
Replacement is a quick fix a technician or kitchen manager can perform. With the equipment powered down, pull or unscrew the worn knob from its shaft, then press or thread the new knob onto the same shaft, aligning it with the control panel markings. Confirm the knob turns the underlying switch or valve correctly through its full range before returning the unit to service.
