The Norlake Lt Fan Motor 115V (Part# 146407) is a genuine OEM replacement motor for Norlake walk-in coolers, freezers, and refrigeration equipment. As the drive component for a key function on Norlake walk-in coolers, freezers, and refrigeration equipment, this motor provides the rotational power needed to keep air, water, or product moving through the system.
Motors run for extended duty cycles in commercial kitchen environments and are exposed to heat, moisture, and grease-laden air that can degrade windings and bearings over time. A failing motor typically presents as unusual noise, overheating, reduced output, or a complete failure to start, often tripping a breaker or fuse in the process.
Replacement should be performed by a qualified electrician or technician. Lock out and de-energize the circuit feeding the motor, then disconnect the motor leads, noting wiring positions, and remove the motor from its mount along with any belts, couplings, or fan blades attached to the shaft.
