The Pitco O-Ring 1" Id X 3/32" Width is a direct replacement sealing O-ring for Pitco commercial fryer valves, fittings, and plumbing assemblies. With a 1-inch inner diameter and 3/32-inch cross-sectional width, this O-ring compresses into a groove to form a dynamic or static seal that prevents oil, water, or gas from leaking past the joint it serves. Over time, the original O-ring can harden and lose elasticity from continuous exposure to hot oil and elevated temperatures, crack, flatten permanently under compression, or swell from chemical incompatibility — all of which destroy its sealing capability. A failed O-ring allows cooking oil or gas to leak past the sealed joint, creating safety hazards, oil waste, and operational disruptions.
