The Perfect Fry 2HA002‑C Basket Lift Motor is a genuine OEM 12V replacement motor for the automatic basket lift mechanism on Perfect Fry PFA series ventless countertop fryers. The motor drives the automated system that submerges the frying basket in hot oil at the start of a cook cycle and extracts it at the end, keeping operators safely away from hot oil contact throughout the process. Its 12V DC design allows it to be powered directly from the fryer's internal low‑voltage supply while delivering sufficient torque for reliable basket movement.
Basket lift motors accumulate wear on their internal bushings, brushes, and drive gears through constant cycling, and this wear eventually causes the motor to slow, stall, or produce unusual noise during basket travel. A partially degraded motor may still complete cycles but require significantly more current, which can stress the power supply and other electrical components downstream. Complete motor failure during a fry cycle is a safety event because the basket remains submerged in hot oil until a technician can manually intervene, creating both a burn hazard and a food quality issue.
Because the 2HA002‑C uses the factory connector and mounts to the original bracket points, it can be installed by a qualified technician without cutting any wiring or fabricating new mounting hardware. The motor should be replaced proactively when basket travel slows noticeably or when the lift cycle generates new mechanical sounds, rather than waiting for an outright failure.
