The Perfect Fry 6HA008 Arm Basket Ramp Left Hand is a genuine OEM mechanical guide arm for the left side of the basket ramp assembly on Perfect Fry PFA series ventless countertop fryers. This arm defines the left‑hand travel path of the fry basket as it moves along the ramp from its home position toward the oil vat and back again, working in coordination with the right‑hand ramp arm and the tension springs to deliver smooth, controlled basket travel during every fry cycle. The left‑hand designation indicates this arm is geometry‑specific and not interchangeable with the right‑hand counterpart.
Ramp arm wear is caused by the repeated sliding contact between the basket frame and the arm guide surface, combined with the compressive and tensile loads applied by the spring and lift mechanism during each cycle. Over time, the contact surface of the arm can develop grooves or notches that cause the basket to catch and release erratically rather than traveling smoothly, and the mounting hardware can develop wear that allows the arm to shift out of alignment relative to the basket path.
