The Perfect Fry 83021 Basket Ramp Assembly is a genuine OEM replacement for the ramp mechanism that guides the PFA series fry basket along its defined travel path during loading, submersion, and post‑fry product delivery on Perfect Fry PFA series ventless countertop fryers. The ramp provides the mechanical guide surface that ensures the basket moves along the correct arc from its home position into the oil vat and back again, and it works in conjunction with the basket ramp springs to provide consistent, smooth basket travel through every fry cycle. The dimensions and pivot geometry of the OEM ramp assembly are calibrated to match the PFA basket and lift system.
Basket ramp assemblies experience wear and deformation from the physical contact load of the basket during each cycle, from cleaning tool contact during fryer maintenance, and from the occasional mechanical impact that occurs in a busy kitchen environment. A ramp that has become bent, warped, or worn at its guide surfaces will cause the basket to travel erratically, produce mechanical noise as it contacts the ramp at an incorrect angle, or prevent the basket from reaching the correct position at the end of its travel stroke.
