The Perfect Fry 83126 Male Connector Back (OEM reference 6ET757) is a genuine OEM replacement strain relief and back housing for the male electrical connectors in the wiring harnesses and element terminations of Perfect Fry PFA and PFC series ventless fryers. The connector back housing clamps over the wiring entry points of the connector body and captures the wire insulation jackets, transferring mechanical strain from conductor pulls and vibration away from the crimp terminations inside the connector. Using the OEM back housing ensures the correct cable entry diameter range and clamping force for the conductor sizes used in the fryer's wiring.

Connector back housings can fail due to cracking from repeated flexing of the wiring at the connector exit point, distortion from heat exposure, or being overtightened during installation to the point where the housing material fractures. A back housing that is missing or damaged allows mechanical strain to reach the crimp terminations inside the connector body directly, which over time causes the crimps to loosen or the conductors to break at the crimp point, producing an intermittent open circuit. In high‑vibration areas near the basket lift mechanism or in locations where the harness is disturbed during cleaning, back housing failure can be a recurring issue if the harness routing does not provide adequate strain relief.

The 83126 back housing installs over the connector body and is secured using the correct screwdriver or installation tool to achieve the proper clamping force on the cable jacket without cracking the housing. Replacement should be performed whenever the existing back housing shows cracking, distortion, or missing sections, or whenever the connector body is replaced as part of a connector rebuild. After installation, the wiring harness should be routed to minimize strain on the connector exit point, and the repair should be validated through a function check of the affected circuit.
