PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Perfect Fry 83213 Connector, Snap-In is an OEM replacement part designed for use with Perfect Fry commercial ventless frying systems. This component supports proper operation, safety, and performance of compatible equipment.

Details
The Perfect Fry 83213 Snap‑In Connector is a genuine OEM electrical connector component used in the heat lamp circuit or other low‑voltage wiring connections within Perfect Fry PFA series ventless fryers. This connector provides a secure, tool‑free connection that locks into its mounting position with a positive snap, ensuring reliable electrical contact that resists accidental disconnection from fryer vibration or handling during cleaning. The snap‑in design is used in applications where the connection needs to be accessible for service while being mechanically secure during normal fryer operation.
Snap‑in connectors in commercial kitchen applications can fail due to deformation of the plastic locking tabs from repeated connection and disconnection cycles, corrosion of the contact surfaces from the kitchen environment, or physical damage from impact during cleaning. A connector with damaged locking tabs may not retain its mating half securely, causing intermittent loss of the electrical connection it carries and the loss of whatever function that circuit controls. Contact corrosion causes increased connection resistance that can produce heat at the joint and cause the connected component to operate at reduced performance.
The 83213 connector installs by pressing into its designated mounting location until the locking tabs engage, providing both mechanical retention and the electrical connection in a single motion. Replacement is indicated when the locking tabs are broken or deformed, when contact corrosion is visible, or when the connection has been identified as the source of an intermittent fault in the circuit it serves. After installation, confirming that the connector is fully seated and locked and that the controlled function operates correctly validates the repair.
