The Perfect Fry 83216 Molded Silicone Door Gasket is a genuine OEM replacement seal for the front access door of Perfect Fry PFA and PFC series ventless countertop fryers. This food‑grade silicone gasket is precisely molded to match the factory door profile, creating an airtight seal between the door and the fryer cabinet when closed that maintains the internal pressure balance needed for the filtration system to function correctly. The silicone material is selected for its resistance to heat, oil chemistry, and the repeated compression from door cycles that degrade other gasket materials much faster.
The molded silicone door gasket gradually loses its original cross‑section from the permanent compression set that results from thousands of door closing cycles, and the silicone surface can become tacky and prone to tearing after prolonged exposure to cooking oils and cleaning chemicals.
