The Perfect Fry 83217 PFA Shovel Drawer Assembly (OEM reference 2DT941‑C) is a genuine OEM replacement for the drawer and shovel mechanism that guides freshly fried food from the fry basket into a receiving tray at the end of each cook cycle on the Perfect Fry PFA series ventless countertop fryer. This stainless steel assembly is a key element of the fryer's safe food delivery system, routing hot fried product away from the oil and basket without requiring the operator to reach into or over the cooking area. Correct function of the shovel drawer assembly ensures consistent, safe, and efficient product transfer after every cycle.

The shovel drawer assembly is a contact surface for hot, oily food product during every fry cycle and must withstand repeated thermal cycling, physical contact from the product load, and frequent cleaning with commercial degreasers. Stainless steel fatigue, bent shovel arms, warped drawer components, or damaged guide pins can cause the drawer to bind or not seat correctly in the fryer door, preventing the automatic food delivery motion from completing cleanly and requiring operator intervention to clear the product. Damage to the shovel or drawer components that creates rough or sharp surfaces is also a food safety concern.
