The Perfect Fry 83254 Airflow Module Assembly (OEM reference 2HT723‑C) is a genuine OEM replacement for the air circulation module within the filter cavity of Perfect Fry PFA and PFC series ventless countertop fryers. This module manages the path of cooking exhaust air through the fryer's HEPA and carbon filtration stages, ensuring that grease particles and cooking odors are captured before the air is returned to the kitchen. The correct airflow geometry through this module is essential for the fryer to satisfy its ventless UL 710B performance rating.
Airflow modules accumulate grease deposits on their internal surfaces over time, and if the module becomes structurally damaged from cleaning, impact, or thermal stress, it can create bypass gaps that allow unfiltered air to short‑circuit the filter media. When this happens, grease and odor escape into the kitchen environment even when the filters themselves are freshly installed, giving the false impression that the filters are not working.
