The Perfect Fry 83447 Heat Lamp Front Cord (OEM reference 6CA006) is a genuine OEM replacement power cord for the optional front‑mounted heat lamp accessory on Perfect Fry PFA series ventless fryers. This cord connects the heat lamp assembly to the fryer's dedicated heat lamp outlet, providing the electrical supply to the lamp's infrared heating element and any integral switch or indicator functions in the lamp assembly. The OEM cord is rated for the current and temperature requirements of the 400W heat lamp circuit and for the kitchen environment that the cord is routed through.
Heat lamp cords are routed along the exterior of the fryer from the lamp mounting point to the rear‑mounted outlet, which means they are exposed to the cleaning chemicals, heat, and physical handling that occur during routine fryer maintenance. Cord insulation can become cracked or brittle from prolonged heat exposure near the fryer body, and the cord jacket can be cut or abraded by contact with sharp cabinet edges or by being caught under the fryer during repositioning. A damaged cord is a safety hazard because it creates a risk of electrical shock, short circuit, or fire, and it must be replaced immediately if any damage to the insulation or conductors is visible.
