The Perfect Fry 83543 Air Filter Service Kit is a genuine OEM two‑stage replacement filtration package that includes one carbon filter and one HEPA filter, compatible with Perfect Fry PFA and PFC series ventless countertop fryers. Measuring 14 inches by 14 inches by 5 inches and weighing approximately 5.5 pounds, this kit provides the correct media dimensions and grades required by the fryer's ventless design to capture airborne grease and neutralize cooking odors in a single filter service event. Maintaining the correct OEM filter specification preserves the fryer's UL 710B ventless performance rating.
The HEPA stage of the filter kit captures fine grease droplets and particulate that would otherwise coat the carbon bed and the kitchen surfaces downstream of the fryer. When the HEPA filter is saturated, airflow resistance increases and grease‑laden air begins to bypass the carbon stage, reducing odor control effectiveness and progressively loading the recirculation fan motor. The carbon stage, once exhausted of its active sites, can no longer adsorb odor molecules efficiently, and the kitchen will begin to experience noticeable cooking smells even when the fryer appears to be operating normally. Replacing both stages simultaneously with the 83543 kit resets the entire filtration system to full capacity.
Filter replacement frequency depends on fryer throughput and the types of products being fried, with high‑fat or strongly flavored products typically requiring more frequent changes.
