The Perfect Fry 83795 PFC Fire Extinguisher Upgrade Kit is a genuine OEM service kit for upgrading the fire suppression system on older Perfect Fry PFC series ventless fryers to the current‑generation fire extinguisher bottle configuration. When the original fire extinguisher design installed on a PFC series fryer is no longer supported by the manufacturer's service parts ecosystem, this upgrade kit transitions the system to the current configuration that can be serviced, recharged, and maintained using available Amerex components and authorized service providers. Completing the upgrade is a compliance obligation for PFC series operators whose units fall within the applicable serial number range.

NFPA 17A requires that the wet chemical fire suppression system on ventless fryers be maintained in a fully charged and serviceable condition at all times, with regular inspection and periodic recharge to verify and restore system readiness.
