The Perfect Fry 83801 Fire Extinguisher Recharge Kit is a genuine OEM service kit providing the components needed to rebuild and recharge the fire extinguisher bottle in the automatic wet chemical fire suppression system of Perfect Fry PFA and PFC series ventless fryers. Recharging must be performed by an authorized Amerex service dealer who has the necessary equipment, chemical agent certification, and NFPA 17A service credentials to complete the work correctly. Maintaining a fully charged and certified fire suppression system is a continuous compliance requirement for ventless fryer installations under NFPA 17A.
Regular recharge and inspection of the fire suppression system is not just a compliance obligation—it is the practical measure that ensures the system will actually function in a fire emergency. A fire suppression system that has never been serviced since installation may have a pressure loss from aging seals, degraded chemical agent from time or temperature exposure, or expired fusible links that would prevent correct activation in a fire event.
