The Perfect Fry 84062 Pivoting Element Assembly is a genuine OEM 5.0kW, 230V replacement heating element with an integrated pivoting mechanism for Perfect Fry PFA 2.0 series ventless fryers equipped with the element lift system. Rated at 5,000 watts and approximately 21.7 amps at 230V, this element provides consistent and efficient heat delivery suitable for commercial frying operations at international and select domestic 230V supply voltages. The pivoting design allows the lift system to raise the element clear of the oil for routine cleaning, reducing service time and improving hygiene maintenance frequency.
The 5.0kW rating of the 84062 element results in a lower sheath surface temperature than the higher‑wattage alternatives in the same series, which typically translates to longer element service life when oil quality is maintained. However, the pivot mechanism adds a mechanical maintenance requirement that is not present on fixed elements: the pivot joints and lift cable must be inspected regularly to ensure they are moving freely and not developing wear‑induced looseness that could allow the element to rock in the vat and create uneven heat distribution.
