The Perfect Fry 84180 PFC Basket Motor is a genuine OEM replacement drive motor for the basket lift mechanism on Perfect Fry PFC series ventless countertop fryers. This motor provides the electromechanical drive that automatically raises and lowers the product‑loaded basket in the PFC's frying oil during each cook cycle, which is the core safety feature that prevents operator contact with hot oil during basket handling. The motor's output torque and speed profile are matched to the PFC basket weight and lift travel geometry for smooth, correctly timed basket operation.
PFC basket motors accumulate wear through the hundreds of lift cycles performed each service day, with the motor brushes, commutator, and shaft bearing being the primary wear surfaces.
