The Perfect Fry 84324 PFC 2.0 Control Kit for 5kW systems is a genuine OEM programmable control board replacement kit for Perfect Fry PFC 2.0 series ventless fryers equipped with 5,000W heating elements. This kit provides the updated main control PCB and associated components that manage temperature control, cook time programming, CTS (Cook Time Sensitivity) adjustment, basket motor operation, and integrated safety system functions for the 5kW PFC 2.0 platform. The wattage‑specific firmware programming in the control board is calibrated for 5kW heater loads, making it important to verify the fryer's element wattage before ordering.
The PFC 2.0 platform introduced updated control logic and a revised hardware architecture compared to earlier PFC series fryers, and components from the 2.0 series are not interchangeable with legacy PFC parts. Control board failures in the PFC 2.0 can result from supply transients, E‑Box overheating, or the natural aging of electronic components over years of high‑duty‑cycle service.
