Details
The Perfect Fry Switch Assy, Air Filter 2.0 (Part# 84347) is a genuine OEM replacement switch for Perfect Fry automated countertop fryers. This switch opens or closes an electrical circuit within Perfect Fry automated countertop fryers, either under operator control or in response to a mechanical condition such as a door position or safety interlock, allowing the unit to start, stop, or protect itself as intended.
Switches are actuated repeatedly through the course of daily use, and the internal contacts wear down or pit with each cycle while the housing is exposed to grease, moisture, and cleaning chemicals common in a commercial kitchen. A worn switch typically fails to register actuation, sticks in one position, or causes intermittent operation that can be difficult to diagnose until the switch itself is replaced.
Replacement should be performed by a qualified technician. De-energize the equipment and confirm zero voltage before opening the enclosure housing the switch, then disconnect the wiring, noting terminal positions. Remove the failed switch and install the replacement in the same location, reconnecting wiring to match the original configuration. Restore power and test the function the switch controls before returning the unit to service.
