The 1029118-1 Door Gasket – Backbar, Standard Height is a genuine OEM Perlick part, engineered and manufactured by Perlick for direct fit in Perlick back bar refrigeration, draft beer dispensing, and underbar equipment. As the door gasket, it is built to Perlick's original specifications for fit, performance, and long-term reliability. The magnetic door gasket forms the airtight seal between the cabinet door and frame on Perlick back bar refrigerators, keeping cold air inside the cabinet and preventing warm, humid ambient air from infiltrating around the door perimeter. Constant flexing every time the door opens and closes, along with exposure to cleaning chemicals and spilled beverages, gradually breaks down the gasket's rubber compound and weakens its magnetic strip.
