As the motorized drain valve, it is built to Perlick's original specifications for fit, performance, and long-term reliability. This motorized drain valve is used in Perlick glasswasher systems to control the timed draining of wash and rinse water between cycles, opening and closing on a signal from the machine's control board.

A valve that fails to open fully leaves standing water in the wash chamber, while one that fails to close causes constant drainage and water loss during the wash cycle. Replacing the valve restores correct cycle timing and proper drainage.
