Details
The Perlick Switch, Single Pole, Rocker, (Part# 63303) is a genuine OEM replacement switch for Perlick beverage dispensing and back-bar refrigeration equipment. This switch opens or closes an electrical circuit within Perlick beverage dispensing and back-bar refrigeration equipment, either under operator control or in response to a mechanical condition such as a door position or safety interlock, allowing the unit to start, stop, or protect itself as intended.
Repeated actuation combined with the grease and moisture typical of a commercial kitchen environment wears down the switch's internal contacts over time, leading to symptoms like failure to respond, sticking, or intermittent circuit behavior that points back to the switch itself.
A technician should lock out power to the unit, access the switch, and disconnect its wiring while noting terminal placement. Remove the old switch, mount the new one in the same location, and reconnect wiring per the original layout. Restore power and confirm the switch performs its function correctly before closing out the job.
