Installed in the door or panel of Perlick beverage dispensing and back-bar refrigeration equipment, this glass component allows visibility into the cooking or working chamber.

Glass components are exposed to repeated thermal cycling as the equipment heats and cools, along with impact risk from daily kitchen handling, both of which can cause cracking or thermal stress fractures over time. A failing glass panel typically shows visible cracks, cloudiness, or a compromised seal at its mounting edge.

A technician should power down and cool the unit, remove the retaining hardware around the glass, and take out the damaged panel. Install the new glass with its seal, secure the retaining hardware, and confirm a tight fit before closing out the repair.
