PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Pitco 130-000003-001 Actuator, 24VDC, STL, 1.5" Assembly is an OEM replacement part engineered for Pitco commercial fryers and filtration systems. Designed to support reliable operation, safety, and performance during service and maintenance.

Details
The Pitco Actuator, 24VDC, STL, 1.5" Assembly is a genuine OEM replacement linear actuator assembly for Pitco automated filtration systems, providing a 1.5-inch stroke at 24 VDC to operate the powered ball valve in the fryer drain circuit. Supplied as a complete assembly including the motor, gearbox, and mounting hardware, it is designed for direct installation on the 1.5-inch ball valve body. Using the correct OEM assembly ensures the stroke length, force output, and timing match the filtration system's drain valve requirements.
Over time, the original actuator assembly can fail from internal gear wear, motor brush depletion, or shaft seal damage that allows hot oil vapor and cleaning chemical mist to corrode the internal mechanism. A failed or slow actuator prevents the drain valve from opening or closing fully during the filter cycle, resulting in incomplete oil drainage or uncontrolled oil drain. Installing the replacement assembly provides a new, fully functional actuator with correct stroke and force specifications.
The assembly mounts directly onto the ball valve body using the integrated bracket and connecting pin. It is recommended to replace the actuator assembly whenever it fails to complete a full stroke within the filter cycle timing window or when the drive motor audibly strains without producing valve movement. Pairing the new actuator with a ball valve inspection and filter sequence timing test will confirm the drain automation system is fully functional.
