The Pitco Liquid Level Relay Control, 24VAC CC is a genuine OEM replacement liquid level sensing and relay control for Pitco commercial pasta cookers using a conductivity-based water level detection system on a 24VAC control circuit. It monitors the water level in the pasta cooker vessel via conductivity probes and controls the fill solenoid valve to maintain the correct operating water level automatically. Using the correct OEM relay control ensures the conductivity detection threshold and relay output rating match the pasta cooker's fill circuit design.
Over time, the original liquid level relay control can develop relay contact wear from repeated fill valve switching, calibration drift in the conductivity detection threshold from mineral scale buildup on the electrodes, or circuit board component failure from moisture ingress in the steam-rich pasta cooker environment. A failed control results in the pasta cooker overfilling, running dry, or requiring constant manual water level management, disrupting production efficiency and posing a safety risk. Installing the replacement relay control restores automatic, hands-free water level management.
The control mounts in the original panel or control box location and connects to the conductivity level probes and the fill solenoid valve via the existing wiring harness. It is recommended to replace the relay control whenever the cooker overfills, fails to fill, or the fill valve chatters rapidly.
