The Pitco Gas Valve, Combo, 24V, 1/2" NPT, LP is a genuine OEM replacement combination gas valve for Pitco commercial fryers configured for liquid propane fuel. It integrates a pressure regulator, redundant safety shutoff solenoids, and a manual shutoff in a single body, controlling gas flow to the main burner under direction from the fryer's 24V control circuit. Using the correct OEM valve ensures calibrated LP delivery pressure and reliable safety shutoff function in compliance with commercial equipment standards.
Over time, the original combination gas valve can develop solenoid coil failures, diaphragm leaks, or regulator drift due to thermal cycling, contaminant ingress, and normal wear on internal components. A faulty valve may result in nuisance shutoffs, failure to light, gas odor, or unregulated gas pressure that causes dangerous over-temperature conditions. Installing the replacement valve restores safe, precisely controlled gas delivery to the burner system.
The valve mounts on the 1/2" NPT gas inlet and requires a licensed gas technician for installation, leak testing, and pressure verification.
