The Pitco Computer, Dual Green Display, 24VAC is a genuine OEM replacement digital fryer control computer featuring two independent green display readouts operating on a 24VAC power supply for Pitco commercial fryers. The dual display configuration allows simultaneous monitoring of two temperature values or one temperature and one timer, supporting efficient multi-product frying operations. Using the correct OEM 24VAC computer ensures compatibility with the fryer's low-voltage control transformer and probe wiring.
Over time, the original dual-display computer can develop segment failures on one or both green displays, unresponsive keypad zones, or 24VAC transformer secondary faults that corrupt the control power supply. A failed display eliminates an operator's ability to monitor a frying channel independently, increasing the risk of temperature excursions and product quality inconsistency. Installing the replacement computer restores both independent display channels and the full dual-zone control interface.
The computer installs in the original panel cutout and connects to the 24VAC supply and probe inputs using the existing wiring connectors. It is recommended to replace the computer when one or both display channels fail or when temperature regulation accuracy is inconsistent between the two fryer channels. Pairing the new computer installation with a calibration check on both probe channels will confirm that both display readouts are accurate and the dual-zone temperature management system is fully operational.
